Hi everyone! I'm finally planning my dream trip to Morocco and Fes is the city I'm most excited about. I've been scrolling through booking sites for days trying to pick a riad and honestly I'm more confused than when I started. There are so many beautiful options but the reviews are all over the place - some people say a place is paradise, others complain about noise or difficulty finding it. I really want that authentic experience with the traditional architecture and courtyard, but also somewhere with helpful staff who can help me navigate because I've heard the medina is a maze. I found a blog post listing the best riads in fes that had some gorgeous options but it was from 2022 and I'm not sure if things have changed. For anyone who's been recently, where did you stay and would you recommend it? I'm looking for mid-range, maybe around €80-100 a night, with good food and a rooftop if possible. Also curious if it's better to stay inside the medina or closer to the edge for easier access. Thanks so much for any advice!
