Apple has officially scheduled its next major iPhone event for September 9, where theiPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to be unveiled. Rumoured upgrades include a new 2nm A20 Pro chip, improved battery efficiency, a smaller Dynamic Island, upgraded cameras and Apple&rsquo;s possible C2 modem. A variable-aperture camera system is also expected, although some camera upgrades may vary between the Pro and Pro Max models. The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to retain a design broadly similar to the iPhone 17 Pro, rather than receiving a complete redesign. Apple may introduce new colour options, including a deep or dark red finish.
