I was browsing around yesterday and noticed a lot of new websites popping up with really heavy interfaces. Half of them take forever to load on a normal connection. Has anyone seen any platforms lately that just keep the layout simple and actually work without lagging, or is every new site just overloaded with scripts now?

A friend sent me a link the other day while we were talking about basic web layouts, so I clicked around just to see how it was put together. At first glance, the color scheme is a bit harsh on the eyes, and the top menu feels kind of awkward to use, though you get used to it after a minute. Well, it is really just another platform out there, nothing special, and if someone wants to look at the setup themselves, the page is https://uptown-pokies-austalia.com/lobby/ to see what I mean. As for the technical side, the pages load in about two seconds, there are around five main sections in the directory, and the footer lists a standard Curacao license along with basic SSL encryption. The mobile version scales down fine on a regular phone screen without breaking the text blocks. Anyway, it is just another option on the web, so you should always look at the details yourself and use your own head.
