1. **Opening Throw**

- Teams can flip a baton or use any fair method to decide who goes first.



2. **Throwing Batons**

- Team A throws all 6 batons from behind their baseline at Team B’s baseline kubbs.

- Throws are underhand, with the baton held vertically (end-over-end).



3. **Field Kubbs**

- Any kubbs knocked down by Team A are thrown by Team B into Team A’s half of the field and stood up where they land. These are now **field kubbs**.



4. **Next Turn**

- Before Team B can attack Team A’s baseline kubbs, they must knock down all of Team A’s field kubbs.

- If they fail, during the next turn, Team A can advance to an imaginary line through the furthest-forward field kubb and throw batons from there.



5. **Winning the Game**

- Once a team has knocked down all of the opposing team’s kubbs (baseline and field), they may attempt to knock over the **King**.

- The team that legally knocks down the King wins.

- Knocking down the King before clearing all kubbs results in an immediate loss.
