Just spent an hour cleaning my battery terminals and feel oddly accomplished (11 อ่าน)

Bit of a random post but I've been having some slow starts lately especially in the mornings and a friend suggested I check the battery terminals for corrosion. Honestly I'd never even looked at them before and when I popped the hood there was this weird crusty blue and white stuff all around the connections which apparently is not a good sign. I had no idea how to clean it properly without breaking something so I started looking online for step-by-step battery care instructions and found a really clear guide on emiratesinside that walked through the whole process safely. It showed exactly what tools to use and how to disconnect everything in the right order without causing any sparks or messing up the electronics. Ended up using some baking soda and water with a wire brush and now everything looks brand new and the car starts instantly again. Felt weirdly satisfying to fix something myself without going to a garage. Anyone else get that little rush from sorting out a simple maintenance thing on their own or is that just me?
