Feeling a bit dumb for not figuring this out years ago (10 อ่าน)

I've been in business in Ajman for about six years now and I've lost count of how many shipments I've had fail during the summer months. Melted tape, boxes that turned into soggy messes, products that arrived looking like they'd been cooked. I always blamed the delivery companies, blamed the heat, blamed everything except the one thing I actually had control over my own packaging choices. Last week I finally sat down and decided to just check this guide that someone mentioned in another thread, and honestly I'm a little embarrassed at how obvious some of the mistakes I've been making are. I didn't realize that storing boxes in a hot warehouse before using them weakens the structural integrity. I didn't know that standard tape adhesive literally starts failing at the temperatures we hit here every single day in summer. I didn't think about how heat expansion affects seals. I've already ordered heat-rated tape, I'm keeping my boxes in a climate-controlled room now, and I'm rethinking my whole sealing process. It's such simple stuff and I can't believe I let myself just accept failures for so long instead of actually figuring out what was going wrong. Anyone else have one of those moments where you realize the solution was right there the whole time and you just weren't paying attention?
