What should beginners look for when selecting plants from a nursery? (1346 อ่าน)

The first point for beginners is to study and choose plants that look healthy and robust and are appropriate for their climate zone. Choose the best saplings: Balance of growth, healthy leaves, and stems that are not too thin or weak. It is also a good idea to inquire about the nursery's watering and sunlight needs before buying. Reliable and resilient saplings make gardening easier and more successful.

Walking into a nursery with zero a game plan is dangerous—I always walk out with three plants I didn't plan on buying. Beyond just picking something that looks pretty, definitely check the root system so you do not end up with something completely root-bound. If you are dealing with bigger established bushes or hedges that need a serious makeover, bringing in someone who specializes in professional shrub care can save you from accidentally pruning the wrong branches or killing off new growth.
